My name is Rachel DiNunzio and I am PUMPED to get started with this course! Every week, I get a ton of questions about how I have created the 11 (soon to be 13) picture books in my collection. I can tell you it has been a long road, but rather then have you take the same decade to learn what I've learned, why not knock it out in a single course?

Now, this is not going to be some 3 Weeks To A Six Figure Book course-- there are enough of those silly things out there.  I am going to teach you the real deal: how to produce a product from start to finish so that you will be ready for querying, pitching to a publisher, or the world of self-publishing.

There is A LOT to learn to get started in the publishing field: three degrees later all focused on Children's Book Publishing and I am still learning! Allow me to synthesize all of this info and help kickstart your journey. 

A bit about me.

  • I am a superhero loving, artist, illustrator, & author. Creating picture books is who I am, and what I do.
  • I am happiest when I am wearing one of my many pairs of themed socks and have my sidekick-kitty Hazel Bean working along side of me in my studio.
  • I have a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Illustration where I specialized my studies in Children’s Book Illustration, AAS in typography: where I had the great fortune to specialize in literacy typography, and a Masters of Professional Studies in Publishing. 
  • Day in and day out, I do two things: teach and create books. 
  • I LOVE what I do and I want to expand that love into a community of people who feel the same about pursuing their passions. ​
